Dr. Jim R. Wadford
Dr. Jim R. Wadford is a partner with The Kilgore Group and the founder and senior coach of
Coaching & Consulting International, LLC. Coaching & Consulting International is a coaching, training and consulting business in Charlotte, North Carolina. Dr. Wadford spent the past fifteen years coaching and consulting with churches and judicatories in the southeastern United States. Prior to his work as a judicatory leader, with the Cabarrus Baptist Association (for past thirteen years), he served as pastor and church planter strategist (for twelve years) in and around the Charlotte area.
Jim has much experience in organizational development. He assisted in starting over fifteen churches in the past seventeen years. He led in the restructuring and transition of the Cabarrus Baptist Association from a committee-led organization to an innovative team structure. Dr. Wadford is an excellent trainer and executive coach with over four hundred and fifty logged hours of coaching since 2003.
Dr. Wadford is an extremely skilled leader when it comes to leading organizations through transition and change. He is a highly seasoned consultant in the field of conflict management and resolution. He spends much of his time training and teaching others in the fields of coaching, conflict management and strategic communication. Dr. Wadford is a talented trainer in the field of coaching, and taught executive coaching in Chicago, Atlanta, New Mexico, and California for judicatory leaders. Presently, he is an adjunct professor at Hood Theological Seminary in Salisbury, NC (one of the top ten fastest growing seminaries in the U.S.) and Wingate University in Wingate, N.C.
His desire is to provide high quality coaching, consulting and training for leadership in companies and churches globally. His training and coaching programs are designed to give people practical experiential learning that will have long-lasting returns for measurable results.
Jim graduated from Southern Wesleyan University in Central, SC with a BA in Biblical Studies. He also holds a Masters degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, Wake Forest, NC., and a Doctorate from Drew Theological Seminary in Madison, NJ. He is an prolific reader and life-long learner.
