This site is meant for your entertainment – enjoy!

This is the new site for The Kilgore Music Group, founded by brothers Mike and James Kilgore. We love music, we love playing music and we love people listening to our music.

We’ve set up the site so that we have somewhere to blog to our growing fan base as well as listing some of our local pub gigs around the South and East (and South East) of England.

As soon as we get a bit more internet savvy we’ll also try to get some of our music up here too so you can listen right here online.

Trainers For Driver Training Trainers!

Just reading an article on driving schools and how they often just don’t agree with the government on many aspects of how people learn to drive and then go on to drive and it got me thinking (I’m looking to get on the road shortly).

What would it be like if there was ongoing testing for people who had already passed their driving test. Lets say people were tested on their driving ability every 3 or 5 years – would it decrease the number of accidents and therefore deaths and serious injuries on the roads in Britain? I personally think it would help.

Just think about it. How many times have you heard, “I wouldn’t pass my driving test if I was to take it today” – that’s not good news is it!? Surely even if it meant that people drove a little bit more ‘stick like’ and it added literally a few seconds to each journey, but it reduced the pain and sadness for a handful of families then it surely must be worth it. After all, how much time is a life worth – I would say an awful lot of time.

It would also help the environment. If people drove a lot less aggressively then that would save millions of pounds in fuel being squandered each month and stop countless damage being done to the environment for our children and our childrens’ children.

Sure, people would hate it, but they’d only hate it because the are doing something wrong and if people could be trusted to drive well then there would be no issue in the first place. What do you think?

"Extra Information"

Looking for the opportunity to give up the day job - the Kilgore brothers are trying to get their music out there and just get discovered, hoping that it's just a matter of time. :)
